Launch of the tool on 25 June 2026, at International Agency for Research on Cancer, Lyon, France

The scientific event is held for the launch of the World Health Organization Classification of Tumours (WCT) Evidence Explorer, a decision-making support tool developed within the framework of the EU-funded project Mapping the Evidence for the World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Tumours: a Living Evidence Gap Map by Tumour Type (WCT EVI MAP).

WCT Evidence Explorer is an innovative data driven decision-making support tool developed based on evidence gap maps of the WCT evidence-base, and aiming to facilitate decision‑making related to cancer classification and pathology. During the event, we will present the software application, showcase its key functionalities and demonstrate how it can be used by researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and citizens.

The event will also provide an opportunity to discover key WCT EVI MAP project results, engage with the project team, and connect with users and stakeholders.
