All means of public transportation (metro, tramway and bus) within the city limits can be used with the same ticket:
A single ticket allows (multiple) connections and return trips and is valid for 1-hour.
Tickets need to be validated upon entering the metro station, and onboard the bus or tramway.
There are several types of tickets:
- Single 1-hour ticket € 2.00
- 72-hour ticket €17.50
- 10 x 1-hour ticket booklets €19.50
- Weekly pass: valid from Monday to Sunday €22.70
The TCL Credit Card service allows you to use your contactless credit card or any connected object as a ticket to travel on the entire TCL network (bus, metro, tram, funicular).

Going to the city center
- Take line B at the metro station ‘Stade de Gerland Le LOU’ direction ‘Charpennes’ and change for line D in ‘Saxe Gambetta’ (direction ‘Gare de Vaise’ and get off at station ‘Bellecour’).
