- Subway: fares are distance-based, typically around RMB 3-6 for most inner-city trips (paid per ride).
- Bus: usually RMB 2 per ride (may vary slightly by route).
- Passes: Beijing generally does not have a commonly used “weekly pass”. Most people pay per trip using mobile payment (e.g.Alipay--visitors can often use Alipay by linking the foreign card) or by tapping a Visa/Mastercard.
