Practical information about the meeting

  • Smoking policy
    100% non-smoking 
     
  • Clothing is required, and is informal for all occasions
     
  • Local registration at the venue
    The local registration will open at 8:00 on Thursday 18 May
    When you register, you will be given a name badge by the Security Guards. For security reasons, you must wear at all times when you are at IARC so that you are identified as part of the WHO meeting.
    Please note that you must be accompanied by a IARC staff member to visit IARC floors.
     
  • Internet access
    Wi-Fi is available provided your laptop meets IARC minimum requirements.

  • For your personal safety, please observe the following rules:
    • Do not leave unattended valuables in meeting rooms
    • Do not leave laptops, cell phones, or other personal items unattended
    • Please report immediately any suspicious persons, activities, phone calls or packages in or around IARC
       
  • Meals
    • Welcome coffees and coffee breaks will be served on the ground floor.
      Please refer to the agenda for timing.
    • On 18 May, lunch will be served at the cafeteria.
    • On 19 May, lunch will be served in the Grand hall. 
      Please refer to the agenda for timing.
    • Cocktail dinner on 18 May will take place at 'La Maison' Restaurant
      The menu, including potential allergens, will be displayed at the entrance of the restaurant.
      Special menus will be offered to participants with food intolerances.
      Make sure you wear your name badge.

In compliance with the alcohol-free policy implemented by IARC in July 2019, no alcoholic beverages will be covered by IARC at our organized meals or events.

Alcoholic beverages will be available at your own expense.
